What is it?
Albert Einstein said “We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them." So quite simply Coaching is the process of helping people develop their capacity to think about things differently.
Why is it important?
Often the implementation of ideas, action plans, the strategic direction of an organisation gets railroaded, it doesn’t happen. This is because often people get stuck at some point, they can not see a way over particular hurdles. Coaching can help people get un-stuck by enabling them to focus on the things that are contributing to their being stuck, move beyond them and achieve what they need to achieve.
What we do
Both Anna and Corinne are qualified coaches (Msc Coaching and Mentoring). We offer a range of coaching interventions, from traditional 1: 1 coaching, through to group coaching and Action Learning Set facilitation.
We are currently facilitating an Introduction to Coaching skills workshop on behalf of a Local Authority. This is in recognition that the skills used within coaching are transferable to many other settings, but most notable Supervision. A similar workshop could be designed to meet the needs of your organisation.
